The most popular route is the Grand River Trail that follows the Grand River around the neighbourhood. There’s also beautiful areas by Idlewood Creek that meanders off Grand River into Springmount Park. Other areas of interest include Idlewood Park Natural Area, Briarfield Park and the Grand River Natural Area too. You can bring the kids to play in any of the playgrounds here. The Chicopee Ski Hill offers both hiking and biking trails nearby as well.
Elementary school children can attend the Chicopee Hills Public School or the Lackner Woods Public School. Catholic students can attend Saint John Paul the Second. High school students take the bus to attend the local high school, Grand River Collegiate Institute in Grand River North.
